This month, I designed a quick-to-stitch little pattern with a nautical theme. Nothing says summer like feeling the breeze in your hair, hearing the gulls and watching the sailboats glide across the water. This design is very suitable for a beginner and would make a cute mini pillow or framed piece. Stitch count is 50×50 and design size when stitched over 2 on 28ct linen or on 14ct Aida is 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Weeks Dye Works floss colors are recommended, but DMC alternates are also listed.
