Finally, Back Online!

For the past few months you may have tried without luck to visit my Waxing Moon website. Life and market  changes made me decide to take some time to rethink what I wanted to do with Waxing Moon. I still wanted to design, but not exclusively for cross stitch, and I wanted to spend more time creating and less time printing, packing and shipping and storing pattern inventory. That meant adding digital patterns to my line-up, as well as converting some of my retired designs to digital to keep them available.

So, I opened an Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/WaxingMoonDesigns to showcase my designs for rug hooking and punchneedle, as well as cross stitch and any other craft that might stimulate me to create. The smaller retail venue suites my lifestyle better than the large scale wholesale vending of one particular medium. I will still take wholesale orders of my cross stitch design leaflets, but it won’t be my only focus.

I also decided to let go of my previous Waxing Moon online design gallery and move to a simpler blog format to showcase announcements and new releases in all my design mediums. Most of my available cross stitch design leaflets can be seen on the Hoffman Distributing website http://www.hoffmandis.com  so look there to check availability. If you don’t see it there, you can email me to inquire. My JFox@waxingmoondesigns.com email address should be working consistently again now and is the best way to get a hold of me.

The other thing I had to let go of was my custom frames and buttons. At least for the time being. I’ll keep you updated here if that changes.

Thanks for your patience and support, and as always, happy stitching!

  1. I recently bought “Love you to the moon” and I went to buy the dmc floss and found out that floss #540 for Crescent Colours – Snips & Snails doesn’t exist. Could I get the correct number?

    1. Unfortunately, that pattern has been retired for quite some time and those tooth buttons are no longer available. Try searching for tooth buttons on Etsy. There are artists on there who sell polymer clay buttons. You might be able to find a good substitute.
