Summer is finally here, but I’ve been busy designing and stitching for fall, and here is what I came up with: #219 – AUTUMN BARN TRIO. This set, like all the other popular Trio sets, contains 3 quick-to-stitch designs with a seasonal theme. A couple of years ago, I did a Patriotic Barn Trio set, and since then I’ve received requests for more of these cute little barns. All of these barns are set in an autumn scene and each is decorated with a barn quilt design in fall colors. If you like country or Americana style, these little designs might be just what you’re looking to stitch!

Oh, and before I end off, I want to share a picture of one of my Patriotic Gnome Trio designs, stitched by a local stitcher Kim Baldwin. She used the DMC alternates and substituted seed beads for thread on the fireworks. What a great idea that was! It really adds a nice “POP” to the piece! Great job, Kim! 🙂
